MY Blog (an incomplete thought)

Formulating fractals in my mind would be a much better utilization of my time. “MY” time, I say, as if “time” actually belongs to me. Humans have such possessive qualities. It seems we have to own everything - from land to other humans to intangible ideas such as time.
Mine! Mine! Mine! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
Sickening, really. Or is it?
Possessiveness is just another evolutionary trait of our species – and other species, too -for the idea of ownership invokes emotional responses that contribute to survival-oriented actions and reactions (e.g. protecting the herd, competing for mates, etc).

Another beginning...

Today I begin yet another blog. This blog, however, will be my escape from the dreaded 40 hrs per week life into which I have somehow managed to become snared like a mouse tricked by molded cheese in a rusty trap. I read yesterday in an article in Yahoo! Health News that one way to keep a young brain is by moving one's fingers. So I plan to do just that, which does not mean that the movement of my fingers will always produce sensible creations - but maybe the more I move them the more sensible my creations will be. I suppose we will see...

By "we" I guess I really mean "i" right now, since I am not sure if this blog's audience will ever extend beyond myself....
